This week, on True Blood…

We’ve heard Bill talk about how long he’s had to work at holding back his bloodlust. And we get a taste, so to speak, in a 1920s-era flashback to a time when he and his maker Lorena brutally murdered a couple for their home.

In other news, Sookie has been taken hostage by the Fellowship of the Sun. Sam has been taken hostage by Maryann, and it turns out that his new girlfriend Daphne is THE PIG. Tara and Eggs make several horrible discoveries, the first being a murder scene and the second being another scary Maryann-fueled orgy. And Pam visits Lafayette and tells him to get back into the drug pushing business. Interesting.

Oh, and Hoyt and Jessica are adorable.

    I don’t know if it was mentioned when they met (probably was), but in the book it’s because his real name is Benedict.

    HAHA ok well that’s kinds funny then. I started making up crazy theories that Maryanne hatched him and gave him that name. Benedict makes much more sense.

    The more I see of Bill the more I’m getting warmer for Eric. At the end of last season I thought that I’d stop watching if Jessica was in the next one. But, I’m finding her cute and not annoying at all. Also, I’m thinking a sacrifice is needed to bring new life. Because I think Maryanne intends for Tara and Eggs to procreate. I dunno – just throwin’ it out there.

    OK, here’s my wacky theory… Mayhaps Eggs is the product of just such a ritual and the reason why he has no memory of parents and was raised in foster homes until the day Maryanne chose to “save” him. Mayhaps that is why he went all OMG-I’ve-never-been-here-b4-but-I-know-this-place.

    That’s all I have.

    Why she may be doing this? I don’t have a theory on that yet. Need more aluminum!
