Keepers & Double Down
Monday, November 12, 2007 at 08:02am by GeekBoySorry, I haven’t been posting about Journeyman the past couple weeks. To be honest, with everything else that’s on Mondays, I don’t usually get around to watching it till later in the week. And there doesn’t seem to be that much interest in it here on the blog.
Anyway, I am still watching and enjoying the show, more and more each week. Sadly, the ratings are going in the exact opposite direction, and I suspect that whatever slim chance this show had, the writers strike pretty much flushed them down the toilet. So I’m just prepping myself to enjoy the few episodes that are probably left.
With that in mind, any diehards out there want to discuss the last couple episodes?

I’m with you, GB. I’m enjoying the show more every week, but trying to temper my affection knowing that its ratings are in the crapper.
I loved Dan having to save his present day life and family, and when Livia jumped into his closet…wow. Only, why didn’t he go there? Would have been simpler, since he knew the money was there and all. NOW he’s in deep shit with the Feds, AND the guy who returned his call in the past is back next week.
I wonder how many more episodes are already done? Gosh, you think they just won’t come back from the strike at all?

O.K., then.

Keith – Sorry man, didn’t mean to leave you hanging like that!
Not sure why Dan didn’t jump to his own closet. But I found it interesting that it’s the first time we’ve seen things from Livia’s point of view, and that she seems just as helpless as Dan. I guess I’d kind of been assuming that maybe she had a bit more control than he did. Apparently, she only has more experience.
Meanwhile, it’s Wednesday, and I still haven’t seen this week’s episode yet! I would wish for it to move to a different night than Monday, but I guess at this point, it makes more sense just to wish it won’t get canceled.
There are only two more episodes (besides this last Monday’s) listed on TV.com. So this is probably all they’ve got in the can. Based on the description, it looks like these last couple are a two-parter, probably the big dramatic hurrah before the show goes on winter hiatus. If I was a gambling man, I’d say the show will never return … but I’ll be glad if I’m wrong about that.

Oh no, I just meant it looks like people aren’t that interested. I’m enjoying Journeyman more each week, so I’m hanging in for the last few episodes whether they’re the last or not. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on this weeks trip to a 70s key party. Swingin’, baby!

We learn a lot more about Livia’s situation this week, and by virtue of that, Dan’s. It’s good!
