I Hate the Smell of Sulfur in the Morning

The Amazing Racers go to war and one team doesn’t make it out alive…

Don’t have time to really recap today, so discuss amongst yourselves. The U-Turn really did Joe & Heidi in, saving Jeff & Jordan. I don’t think J&J have much time left in this Race, though. Jordan doesn’t seem to have much competitive spirit.

Order of Finish

1.    Louie & Michael
2.    Steve & Allie
3.    Jet & Cord
4.    Dan & Jordan
5.    Carol & Brandy
6.    Brent & Caite
7.    Jordan & Jeff
8.    Joe & Heidi (ELIMINATED)

Where are the good challenges this season? I guess the the war thing was kind of cool with the airplanes, but not that entertaining to watch. And the Joe and Heidi thing, it just seemed mean. They didn’t have a chance. I do like to listen to Dan and Jordan bicker though, it seems good-natured.

“Jordan doesn’t seem to have much competitive spirit.” Ah, nothing like a little understatement on a Monday morning. Plus neither is overly smart.

Cowboys! Loved hearing them with their bag-oo-ets and lay-ez-beeuns. And so relentlessly chipper. I don’t think they have a meltdown in them, but I’d kinda like to see it.

I didn’t get why Carol/Brandy (I always have trouble with identifying which is which on teams) got so riled up about being dirty. I mean, you might not want to play war, but it’s the Amazing Race, you’re going to get dirty at some point.

Yeah, Jordan sure is a lot of dead weight for Jeff to carry around. Is it just me or does this season seem to be going really fast? There are only 7 teams left already.

Ah, we finally caught up, just like Jeff and Jordan. I’m glad they made it in, I adore them. They make me happy. Did anyone catch the part where Jordan didn’t know how to get off the roundabout and Jeff goes, “Big Ben. Parliament.” Jeremy starting HOWLING and I asked him why and he yelled, “EUROPEAN VACATION!” And then I remembered.

    BIG BEN! PARLIAMENT!

These editors are really doing a great job. I love them.

I hated Heidi and Joe…well, mostly I hated Joe. He acts like a know-it-all and that always gets on my nerves. But shit, that morse code looked HARD. My kid would have been able to figure it out…he’s been playing with morse code since he was 5.

I repeated “Big Ben! Parliament!” to Lisa twice, snorting the whole time. Then we both went, “Oh Jeff, you’re so pretty.”
