Last night, during an hour-long commercial for BEAUTIFUL LAS VEGAS, NEVADA!!! Meghan and Cheyne won the Amazing Race.

    Yeah, anti-climactic much? The TAR producers are excellent at manufacturing suspense if need be, so they must have had nothing to work with. I was surprised they didn’t do the final memory challenge they’ve favored the last few seasons.

    I was so afraid the Whiner Brothers we’re going to win once they got to the Monte Carlo first. It was nice to see that the bickering that annoyed me all season finally bit them in the ass during the chip counting. As well as some well-deserved taxi karma before that.

    I’m amazed at how geographically challenged the contestants were this year. To not know about Monaco (I believe someone asked what country is it in) is a bit scary. I’ll give a pass to not recognizing that the Venetian is based on Venice, Italy. But there were a few instances of geo-stupidity this year. (Didn’t someone think Prague was a country?)

    TAR finales area always so anti-climatic and cheesy. They should do what Survivor does and have a 1-hour reunion show after the finale so we get more Phil.

    If we thought people were geographically stupid this year — and they were — I cannot WAIT to watch poor Jordan next season!

    I did find it more than a little alarming that people entered in a race AROUND THE WORLD knew embarrassingly little about geography. FRIGHTENING.

    Also, who’s Jordan?

    Jordan was this adorably dumb little girl from Big Brother (actually, she won) who was just … well, she admitted on television that she didn’t know how to tell time.
