Candelabra.

Well, who would have thought that a team on The Amazing Race would be undone by illiteracy? Actually, I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more often.

This week our teams traveled to Estonia and mucked around in the mud in their underpants. Good times. Gary & Matt had their worst leg ever, resulting in their elimination. They got lost, Matt didn’t know what a candelabra was — but they did get to ride around in a mobile sauna with a hot blonde girl in a towel. So, you know, not so bad.

Conversely, Meghan & Cheyne ran an excellent leg and landed on the mat in first place. They won their own sauna, and the confused looks on their faces made me laugh out loud.

The Globetrotters and the Brothers continued their rivalry, to the point where they were knocking each other over during a race to the Mat. Ugh.

Oh, and Brian and Ericka were there, too.

Order of Finish:

  1. Meghan & Cheyne
  2. Sam & Dan
  3. Flight Time & Big Easy
  4. Brian & Ericka
  5. Gary & Matt (ELIMINATED)

I liked Gary and Matt, so it was a bit sad to see them go. I almost thought they had a chance of beating Brian and Ericka, but in the post-match interview that they showed before the match had actually ended, Ericka mentioned something about having to stay strong for the rest of the race, so it was pretty obvious they weren’t going to get ousted.

Also sad that the brothers and the Trotters were knocking each other over, when it was clearly not for either first or last place.

I was sad to see Gary and Matt go, even if Matt didn’t know what a candelabra was (which made me scream at him through the tv). I want to like Sam and Dan, but they’re pissing me off.

Also, who wears a THONG during the Amazing Race?

Holy shit. I just checked the website to make sure I hadn’t gotten Gary and Matt mixed up. Gary is only 6 years older than I am. SIX.

Excuse me, it’s time for my Metamucil.

Six years?! Gary’s lived a hard life, yo.

Whoa. He’s six years older than me too. I would have guessed him to be mid 50s. Sorry Gary!!

I also thought the Globetrotters were older than 28/32. I’m a bad judge of age, I guess.
