The Million Dollar Bathroom Break
Monday, May 04, 2009 at 08:00am by freakgirlLast night’s Amazing Race whittled our final four down to a final three, with the finale next week. Who was booted? Who was responsible for possibly the worst decision ever made in the history of this Race? Click through to find out.
As they approached the Pit Stop, neck and neck with Jaime and Cara, Jen decided she had to pee. She actually stopped to use a public bathroom near the Pit Stop, and the redheads landed on the mat only seconds ahead of them (according to Phil). Unbelievable. WET YOUR PANTS, Jen, a MILLION DOLLARS WILL BUY YOU MORE.
So here’s our Final Three:
1. Tammy & Victor
2. Margie & Luke
3. Jaime & Cara
I’m rooting for them in that order, too. Bring it!
Hoping this doesn’t come out sounding rude, but does anyone else think that Tammy & Victor had it REALLY easy over the past couple of legs?

Tammy and Victor have had it easy because of the Chinese thing? That is lucky right? But like three teams followed them through a task a few legs ago, so they benefited from it too. I think all but the stuntman brothers were pulled through that task by Tammy and Victor. It will be interesting to see how they do once they leave China, particularly because they have done so well recently and maybe have an inflated sense of greatness.
Oh Jen! I just could not, and still can’t believe it! I have a nine pound baby on my bladder ALL THE TIME these days and I have NO sympathy for her! A million dollars! They just did not seem to want to win – Kisha should have pushed her a little bit more, to scoop up those damned bugs and eat them, and to NOT find a port a let for her. It’s the dumbest choice I’ve seen on reality tv since Whatshisname in the Robe didn’t use the veto on himself on BB.

So funny, Joanne — I think the geekboy said the same thing about Marcellus from Big Brother. This will go down in history as one of the worst decisions ever on a reality show.
I couldn’t believe she was eating the food like that, either. IT IS A RACE!

Who drinks 4 bottles of water in a Fried Food Challenge?
I get the feeling, however, that Jen didn’t want to race anymore. The fight with Luke and Margie and the swimming challenge seemed to completely drain her. She just didn’t seem to have spirit for the race (which is odd because she seemed the more reasonable one of that team early in the season).
I’m more upset just because Jaime is such an awful person to other people that I didn’t want them to make it to the finale. Also, I’m rooting for Tammy & Victor by default now. Victor still bugs a bit but they’ve had a lot of fun over the second half of the season and seemed to have worked through a lot of their issues as siblings.
Luke and Margie are hella annoying now.

I couldn’t believe Jen broke up all the food into little pieces and then swallowed each piece like a pill. That’s insanity. She just didn’t seem to have it in her anymore; I felt badly for Kisha, although she handled it with a ton of grace. I don’t know that I would have been that nice about it.

I think the fatigue really caught up to Luke and Margie on this Super-leg. It’s the first time we’ve seen Margie snap.

Margie looks just like Michael Jackson in that picture. The four bottles of water thing was more enfuriating to me than the actual stopping to pee.I would have thought that alone would make her more likely to vomit than just eating the fried bugs.
