I know we haven’t been keeping up with Survivor: Samoa this season, but I figured I’d throw up a post after last night’s episode. What did you think?

I also liked that Russell played the Idol. No, he didn’t need it, but wasn’t it nice to see someone assess the risk logically and play the idol accordingly? For once? I’m sure the idol Erik had in his pocket will make a nice souvenir, ha ha.

It’s also kind of cool that both the idols are now out. I realize they may add a new one, but getting them flushed out right at the merge means more interesting gameplay, in my opinion. I really like Natalie as a sleeper pick. She seems to be playing a great social game.

It cracks me up that the person that Erik was so hard on, is the person that started the whole thing to vote him out. I’m interested to hear more from Brett and Kelly (I just had to check out cbs to make sure I had their names right.) I’m hoping they have more of a presence later on.

I’m wondering why Jeff has been missing twice now.. once for an earlier challenge (getting the chickens) and then for the merge announcement. (Or is he not always around for that?)
