Why oh why did they get rid of Crystal rather than Kenny? Kenny has won challenges! Crystal isn’t a threat of any kind as evidenced by her getting off course in the challenge last night.

Speaking of getting off course in the challenge last night, in hindsight I think Susie definitely made the play of the entire game by ousting Marcus. Look how far she’s come without winning anything!

Kenny has squandered what goodwill I had towards him by constantly talking about how awesome he is. Even stuff that was out of his control (voting for Matty), he’s retrofitting into his “grand plan.” Shut up, Kenny.

I’d love to see Matty, Bob or Sugar win at this point.

I think it came down to trust. Sugar couldn’t really trust 100% that Bob wasn’t going to live up to his deal with Kenny and give him immunity at the last minute. And if he did, then either Matty was going to go, or — if she still ended up giving Matty immunity — then some other person with one vote might go … possibly her. But nobody was possibly going to protect Crystal, so she was an easy target. And it still cuts Kenny’s legs out from under him and makes him extremely vulnerable next week.

I have a feeling that unless Kenny wins immunity next week, he’s gone. Because Sugar, Matty, and Bob are all full of themselves with this “WE’RE THE GOOD GUYS!” bullshit now, and they’ve targeted Kenny as being “evil”. Which is silly, but I think living in the wild too long starts to fill people’s heads with sanctimonious delusions.

Living in the wild or the Big Brother House, apparently. ;)

I think Sugar has been the master player this season, but I’m not sure the jury will be able to recognize that since they’re not seeing what we are. But I would be happy if Bob or Matty won too. What I need to know though, is how Bob manages to tie his bow tie so that Survivor reads right across it!

Also, when did Randy become Travis Bickle?

How weird was that? Even weirder, it made him look younger somehow. And confused. I wonder whose idea that was.

I think the decision to get rid of Crystal first was directly related to the good guys vs. bad guys scenario Sugar has running in her head and she thinks that Crystal is more evil than Kenny. It definitely would have made more sense to get rid of Kenny.

I loved when Sugar told Matty “Leave the thinking to me.” Sure, she’s made some good moves but she’s also no brainiac. She seems to make a lot of moves solely on emotion.

A Matty/Bob/Sugar final three would be a really really interesting match-up with each person being a valid choice as winner, depending on your perspective. Although I can’t imagine Bob not winning in that matchup. It would really come down to Crystal & Kenny…

Has anyone ever been more under the radar than Susie? Do you think when she came back from exile, they were all thinking, “Oh, yeah. I thought she had been voted off days ago?”

I’m still down with Kenny. Anyone but Sugar and Susie at this point.

I just don’t see what Kenny has done to be called a “master strategist” at this point. He was responsible for getting Sugar to turn on Ace. But Crystal and Susie had more to do with ousting Marcus, Kanny bouncing Charlie was not a huge move, and – if anything – Kenny was stupid for his vote against Matty in the F7; that got him nowhere. Is there something I’m missing?

And I don’t understand Corinne. If you read her post-boot comments last week, she liked Kenny, didn’t mind Crystal, and hated Sugar and Susie. Could hardly tell from her reactions on the jury last night. She’s whack.

As for the “good guys” thing, it doesn’t bother me in execution, but as soon as that’s vocalized as a strategy, I cringe a bit. Not so much if you label someone a “good guy” (like Matty did to Bob at TC), but if you refer to yourself in that way… yeah. That doesn’t work so well.

Interesting comment from Probst on his blog:
    http://popwatch.ew.com/popwatc.....t-b-1.html

“All things considered, I’m happy with this final five. There are three people I would be happy to see win and two people that if they win, I’ll pretend I’m happy and quickly begin promoting next season.”

The two people being: Susie (Jeff hates the riding of coattails) and… from his comments, it’s hard to tell. Matty? Sugar?

I got the impression that he loves Matty. I think he really dislikes Sugar.

Also, re: Corrine’s reactions at Tribal Council. I think those “reaction shots” are heavily edited. I’ve read interviews with contestants saying they never did such-and-such at a particular Tribal Council; that they edited in footage of them reacting to something else instead.

Probst made it pretty clear in his EW blog that he doesn’t like Kenny and Sugar. And it was pretty clear on the finale last night, too.

The last time I heard him talk about someone with this much loathing was during the Jeff’s true love Julie Berry Battle of the Sexes Season when he kept openly referring to the winner (I believe his name was Chris) as a Liar in a “Ha ha I’m joking but really I’m not” manner.
