I didn’t like this challenge much, mostly because it threw Korto for such a loop. I guess the designers should have thought more about what their challenge might be…anyway, I wasn’t crazy about Korto’s wedding dress to begin with, and the bridesmaid dress was so boring!

Jerell’s wedding dress was completely overdone, but I have to say I loved the bottom of the dress. And if he had done the tulle in white, they would have complained about that color, too.

I don’t love Leanne’s waves, but I totally get them. Her dress was unique and refreshing and impeccably made. And her supporting dress was perfect.

Hate to say it, but I thought Kenley did a great job. Apparently her wedding dress was derivative of Alexander McQueen, but I didn’t know that and I don’t know if she did, either. It was whimsical and silly and didn’t look a mess. (You can compare the dresses here.) Her bridesmaid dress was very cute, although I thought it was a bit short.

Enough with the bubble hems, already, people.

Holy Crap on that McQueen dress!!!!

As soon as I saw Jerell’s collection I knew he was out.

Korto has always done great stuff but, she is definitely cracking under the pressure. I loved her studio, BTW. Oh, and Tim Gunn and the snatch comment—hysterical!!!

I LOVED Kenley’s silk dress that she painted the flowers on—so pretty!

I still think Leanne will win — the waves are very cool and her clothes look like a “collection” plus, it’s been a while since a girl has won.

The colors in Korto’s collection were GORGEOUS. So not indicative of what her wedding dress looked like. I can’t wait to see her stuff on the runway.

I agree, though, at this point it’s Leanne’s to lose. She has a definite point of view and excellent skills.

Well, a woman is definitely going to win.

Jerell and Korto really missed the boat.

Things have fallen flat a lot this season, but it’s still entertaining.

Ugh. The minute they said all four were going home to work on their collections, I knew Kenley would rock it and Jerell would be out. :-( Jerell is totally lovable and talented, but he needs an editing partner. Kenley is an infant, and so not versatile, but what she likes to do, she does well. Grrr…

I loved the colors of Korto’s collection — I hope the clothes are nice, because I want her to do well. I thought it was kind of sweet when she was all weepy over the fact that someone has to go. I thought it was surprising and telling that Korto expressed love for them all, including Kenley. Compared with Kenley’s statement that she wouldn’t waste her anger on people she’d never see again, I thought it really showed both designers’ true character.
