It warmed my heart that Heidi managed to get in a dig about Kenley’s boobs. LOVE HER. Kenley really screwed the pooch this week and should have gone, but Suede has consistently sucked. It was his time. Please let next week be Kenley’s time. Did you see the preview? Everyone on the runway was crying! You know that’s all Nina’s fault.
This was one of those “production decisions,” if you ask me. The point is that the three best designers remain, but Kenley needed to go. That outfit was unattractive, ill-fitting, and totally missed the point of the challenge. Conversely, maybe Suede didn’t notch it up far enough (but really, if he had, I can so hear them saying it was “too costume-y”), but Jerell looked GREAT in that outfit. Damn he was WEARING those pants all over the place. Those pants. All over the place. Looked. Great. In those pants. Umm, what? Who?
I couldn’t even look at Jerell’s pants. They left, um, nothing to the imagination. They were very cool, but the rest of the ensemble was so…blah.
Is Project Runway judged the same as Top Chef, where they’re not supposed to take past performance into account? I feel like PR does, which would explain why Kenley didn’t go home.
What really upset me is the way she blamed Leanne for the failure of the outfit.
Oh, also, Korto snickering, “I can’t wait until tomorrow” was classic. I rewound it and watched it again, I did.

I’ve never been much of a Suede fan, but I thought it was classy that he really sold Korto’s outfit.
