Top Chefs work at Craft
Hey there, Not Chefs! Bitter much?
Dragon and Princess
You know what? All I have to say about this episode is that if a judge actually has to SPIT OUT your food, you should pack your knives and go. Immediately.
View all the dishes here — although the web monkeys at Bravo have neglected to caption any of these photos.

some of those hot dogs looked great, though.

Fabio’s dish also looked fantastic. And what is “New American cuisine,” anyway?
How the hell do you make a hot dog? When they announced the Quickfire, I actually thought they would be given the hot dogs and then would have to prepare them in an unconventional way.

Fabio is growing on me.
Also, one-on-one interviews with Crazee-Eyez Carla need to stop. She’s not so bad in normal cooking/interaction, but when she’s looking at the camera, I quite literally flinch. Every time.
Also, Jill lamented not getting a chance to cook something she could really get behind. Whose fault is that, genius? The first challenge I kinda understand. But unless they edited something out, this one seemed pretty free-form.

I’ve seen other blogs point out her striking resemblance to Beaker.
Good on her, though. It’s hard to make a good pie crust and seems like she nailed it.

I thought being cocky about cold corn soup was going to bite whatshername right in the queer ass but apparently it was a delicacy. I still wouldn’t eat it — my undying passion for the perfect grilled cheese sandwich has probably permanently prohibited my ever being categorized as a Foodie proper — but good for her, and I liked her simple-but-pretty presentation.

I loved Crazee-Eyez Carla’s consoling of whatserface. “There is no mistake in the universe”. Hee. Be my life coach, Carla.

I’m tempted to make that photo my screen saver.
I would absolutely eat cold corn soup. Glue-flavored ostrich egg quiche, not so much.
Based on 2 episodes, if you’re in south Florida and in a hurry to eat, you might want to skip the Ritz Carlton.

Fabio is growing on me as well. He had me cracking up.
I’m also confused on what “New American” exactly means. Seems to me like it’s just average traditional dishes made more expensive/fancy.

Forgive me, Carla (et al).
You will have to check me into the nuthouse the second she mentions, uh… nutting in someone’s eye, though.

Hm. Embedded image didn’t work. It’s in the link, though.
