Was I hallucinating or did Mattin attempt to throw Ashley completely under the bus? Why did she not stand up for herself? Yikes. She had a bad episode.

We lost two chefs this week — Jessie and Hector. Kevin did fantastic on the Quickfire, and I bet Bravo execs are frothing at the mouth for the brothers (I’m sorry, I haven’t bothered yet to tell them apart) to make it to the Final Two.

   I totally got the Better Off Dead reference. FRANCH FRIES…I can’t read that without hearing the insane accent.

   Mattin was REALLY sure of himself, like just because he was French he would impress Robuchon. He is getting on my nerves.

   I am in love with Mike V. (the younger of the brothers) – I have a thing for young chefs anyway, and then there’s the tattoo…I’m a sucker for a tattooed bad cute boy. I think it is making this season pretty interesting because of the brothers competition – they both seem like fantastic chefs.

   Seriously, it has been four weeks now and they are the only ones that have won! Obviously the four of them are in their own class. I was rooting for Jesse, because… I don’t know. I liked her, facial piercings and all. But she sucked over and over.

   Went to Jen’s restaurant tonight. Unbelievable. Girl can cook a scallop. Great heirloom tomato salad too.

   Agree about the final four predicted above. Everyone else seems like elimination fodder. Miles of separation there. Can’t wait for it to play out.
