Ronnie is Annoying
Friday, July 24, 2009 at 08:07pm by MaggieSo! Ronnie seems to have made a slight mistake during his time as HoH. Instead of backdooring Russell, he put Jordan up. This confused everyone in the world, until he explained himself in the DR that using Jordan as a pawn is the best way to get rid of Laura. But why Laura? Why not Russell as planned?
Laura has been calling Ronnie on all his shenanigans from the get-go, and she’s been right. Ronnie’s behaviour has also been so overly confident and obnoxious, that when Laura finally got the whole stupid house to realize that he’s been lying to everyone, they turned on him so fiercely it was beautiful. They gave him a chance to explain himself, which he refused, saying smugly that he’s not going to be put on the spot and is fine with how things have turned out. Everyone was so angry with him, telling him he wouldn’t last another week, that he holed himself up in the HoH room out of fear and shame. Aww.
Finally, BB called Ronnie out to the DR and as soon as Russell, who was outside, heard the announcement, he rushed back into the house to hover over Ronnie, picking on him in familiar Hurricane Howie style. And he did it tirelessly for the rest of the week. Ronnie spent all his time hiding upstairs, eating Pringles, but the second he had to leave the HoH room, there was his shadow Russell, following him around, calling him Ratty McRatterson and all sorts of fun stuff like that.
At one point Ronnie stared at a photo of his wife and started to cry. I started to laugh. I felt bad about that for a few minutes until I heard Ronnie talking to Julie Chen just before the live eviction. Smug, irritating Ronnie was back, insisting that half the house was faking and that he had five strong alliance members. Really? Really?
To no one’s surprise, Laura was evicted because Jordan is a space cadet and therefore no real danger. I don’t really like her, but I was sad to see her go. And I had to hand it to her, she also showed a lot of poise talking to Julie and listening to her goodbye messages.
HoH competition was like some kind of skeeball on steroids, and to my absolute horror, the winner WAS the Skeeball on Steroids, Jessie. Ugh. Great. Ronnie thinks he still has an alliance with Jessie, and I guess we’ll find out if that’s true on Sunday.

I can’t believe Jessie is HOH again. Ugh.
I really like Jordan. She seems so sweet and genuine, even if she is a bit of a dim bulb. And Kevin and Michelle are laying so low it’s like they’re not even there.

I dunno, a bulb that dim would grate on the nerves pretty quick! I like her in small doses okay, though.

If you’ll notice, the only houseguests without pitchforks and torches were Jessie and Lydia who kept their mouths shut the entire time and pretended to cook in the kitchen. Jessie is clearly not going to put Ronnie up. But are we surprised?

And Natalie remarking that what Russell was doing “wasn’t right.” Ronnie is totally safe.
