Jeff & Jordan Kiss; Ronnie Farts
Friday, August 07, 2009 at 07:44am by freakgirlLast night, on Big Brother, someone got evicted and someone got Coup d’Etat.
Neither development is a surprise, really. Jeff received the Wizard Power (as Ronnie has dubbed it) and Ronnie was evicted. Watch Jeff get confused over how to pronounce “coup d’etat” and Ronnie’s nasty pre-eviction attack on Michelle here:
I’m not really sure where that came from, other than the fact that Michelle wouldn’t give Ronnie her vote to stay. Whatever, he’s gone now, and he didn’t even make the jury. So much for that, Super Fan.
But before all that happened, the house devolved into the Annual All Night Fight that seems to happen every year. But this year it wasn’t anyone’s birthday, so it wasn’t as awesome.
Here’s a hilarious digest of the fight (language sooooo NSFW):
Of course, over at Reality Blurred, Andy confirmed that Chima and Russell staged this entire fight. But I have no idea why. What was their goal? And even if it was staged, it certainly set off the other fights.
Anyway. Lydia looked really stupid last night. I loved that Julie Chen asked her what kind of Big Brother tattoo she would get, and Lydia had obviously thought it out completely. Maybe they’ll send her a tattoo artist if she ever wins HOH.
So, yeah, Ronnie’s gone and Jeff has the Wizard Power. Obviously he didn’t use it — there was no need. The HOH competition was one of those “True/False” things based on recordings the houseguests randomly heard, recordings of fans offering “advice.” Apparently during the week, Ronnie quizzed Chima on all the advice offered and his strategy worked — she won HOH.
Who do you believe she’ll nominate? Will Jeff need to use the power?

Lydia looked like what would happen if Pris from Blade Runner was transplanted into an episode of L.A. Ink by way of The Road Warrior and Last of the Mohicans.
Also, the crowd LAUGHING during Ronnie’s speech? AWESOME.

Someone on TWoP said that Lydia looked like the Hamburglar.
And I can’t stop laughing.

Hamburglar as a word is funny, and that comparison is bang on!
Does the coup d’etat expire? I must have tuned out when they explained out it works. I thought it was only for a week.

It expires after this next eviction.
It would be great if Jeff used it to put up Natalie & Jessie because you know Chima won’t put either one of them up. But if she puts up Lydia & Kevin, for instance, I’m not so sure he’ll care enough to make himself such a target.
I’m assuming if he does use it, he will still be eligible to play in the HOH competition? And Chima won’t be? Does anyone know? It’s good odds for him if that’s the case, if Natalie or Jessie is gone and Chima can’t play. Only one possible HOH winner would put him up, so it makes the repercussions a little less scary.

He can only use the “Coop DeeTahhh” on Thursday night, right before the eviction. The only people exempt from the power are the HOH and the POV winner.
So for example, if Jessie won POV (even if he doesn’t use it), he can’t go up.
Smart money would be to put Pinhead (Jessie) and Pitbull (Natalie) up and then get rid of Pitbull because Pinhead is powerless without her and kind of directionless and ineffective.

I love that Jeff got the “Wizard Power”. It at least lets me know that, like he said, America sees what’s going on in the house.
And I have to say, I adore the Jeff/Jordan match. They’re so cute! I’m from Chicago and I’m trying to figure out which burb Jeff is from….but I haven’t done enough research yet.
I’m just glad Ronnie’s out of the house. If Jeff didn’t have the Coup, I’d be more worried…..
