High School Reunion
Wednesday, March 05, 2008 at 11:24am by freakgirlI’m going to record tonight’s premiere of High School Reunion over on TVLand. The class is 1987, which is only one year off from my graduating year of 1986. I’m just kind of curious to see people in the same part of their lives as I am right now, you know? Trailer after the jump.

I am also taping it for that reason. I’m a few years older than them, but EW said, “How odd to see a reality show that occasionally reflects adult reality.” They gave it a B. Worth a try for me.

Freakgirl… I am class of ‘86 as well! I thought exactly the same thing, about seeing these people in the same stage of their lives, it should be interesting to watch.

Good. Glad to see that networks (even if it’s just TV Land) are noticing that a hell of a lot of us have outgrown The Real World.

I remember a similar show a while back with the exact same premise (don’t remember which network though). Is this an original show, or are they re-airing that previous one? The promos seems awfully familiar.

Same show, different network, new class.

I’m recording it for that same reason too!
I just had my 20 year reunion in October.

I set the TiVo for the same reason…they’re a class ahead of me, though. I’m class of ‘88. And it just this very minute occurred to me that this year would be my 20 year reunion. HOLY CRAP. Thank god we have no alumni association to speak of, so a reunion won’t be had.

Interesting! That looks pretty cool.

Class of ‘86 here, too. (Has it been that long?) I was planning to watch this but forgot. Was it any good? I saw some of the original one a few years ago, which I thought was just OK.

I live in Richardson, Texas where JJ Pearce is, so I’m really interested in the show. It’s also the high school Jessica Simpson graduated from and was their Homecoming Queen.

I really liked it! The whole Hall Pass thing is stupid, but I’m enjoying the people so far. Although the lesbian who’s now decided to date guys is kind of suspect.
