Grey’s Anatomy F*ckery

Effective almost immediately, the character of Erica Hahn has been cut from the show. I was really enjoying Erica and Brooke Smith’s portrayal of her — I thought her scene last week where she came to terms with her sexuality was really well-done. Apparently Brooke was stunned when she found out; as is everyone else. What a bummer it is to lose a positive gay character on television. Because you know, there are so many there to begin with. Ugh.

Oh, what the HELL?? But… she can see the leaves!

Frankly, her coming to terms was a lot more realistic and touching than Callie and her little meltdowns, “incredible comedic and dramatic actress” be dammed.

    So annoyed X(

Yep – they should’ve kept Brooke – got rid of the other one. I only just realized yesterday she was in Silence of the lambs – as Buffalo Bill’s only surviving victim.

As is always the case, I’m sure it’s an advertising revenue decision. I know a lot of people who were really upset about the blatant scenes with two women during prime time. Oh well, I still think they need to make George gay…it would make so much sense to the story line. It would explain his failure with women beyond the point of friendship. But, someone told me that it is some kind of acting taboo to have an actor, who is really gay, play one on tv.
