I WAS A HUUUUUUUUUGE MESS AFTER THE SFU FINALE. We live across from a fantastic old funeral home and I like to pretend that it’s Fisher & Sons. I’m still not ready to let go.

And Michael, Chuck reads FG to me all the time. I’m surprised that he doesn’t do voices, he’s quite good at the imitations. Everyone he hasn’t met in person should send him audio files, he’ll have your voice down in no time.

Addison is staying for all of next season (yay!). Rhimes: Addison is here to stay. Addison is here to stay because I love Kate Walsh, and I feel like she brings something to the show in a way that was completely unexpected. We started out saying five or six episodes, and then I just kept on writing for her. She's too amazing. She's part of the family now. You’re totally right about wanting to pull her out because you remember how it feels. Me too. It’s really hard to watch someone do that, on tv or in real-life, because YOU know that everything will be okay if they leave. But THEY don’t know that and it requires patience for you to not slap them silly, right?

Ack, Em, if you were anywhere near the state I was in during the SFU finale…I was wrecked for days.

Note to self: Step away from television and make some real friends.

Freakgirl, you are completely right about Addison. I tend toward “do as I say, not as i do” re: bad relationships. I always get all women’s lib about “stand up for yourself” & “have some self respect”, clearly forgetting the times I have hung in there with a boy who clearly was not into me, but I kept hoping he would come around. That is until I met my wonderful husband:) I think because I remember that feeling, I just want her to pull herself out of this and move on. I really like her now too!!

And yes, I do realize that I am talking about these people like I know them, rather than fictional television characters. But if you think this is bad, you should have heard me when Six Feet Under was on…

Ellen Pompeo was on a re-run of friends last night… she looked better… not so skeletal.

She played an old college friend of Ross/Chandler and they had made a pact with each nother not to date her, but during a reunion Ross found out her and Chandler used to makeout all the time. (Same episode were Ross realized he had mistankingly made out with his sister at a party thinking she was Rachel… ewie EW!)

It’s the same girl, luvgrey.

I recognized her but couldn’t figure out from where. The geekboy looked it up for me.

I’m surprised to read the stuff about Addison. As much as I despised her character in the beginning, I have come to really root for her. I feel like she’s a woman who did something terrible because her marriage was unsatisfying. Then she realized her mistake and decided to try to save the marriage. Her husband AGREED and got on board. When trust has been broken to the extent it was in their marriage, the only thing you have left is faith in each other. Addison is IN IT. She can’t look objectively at anything. There’s no possible way that she could see that Derek still loves Meredith. She has her suspicions, but all she has going for her is faith in Derek’s and Meredith’s words.

She really only figured things out during the season finale. Obviously now it will all be out in the open at some point next season, and THEN I hope she walks away. But I don’t blame her for trying to fix things.

I had no idea I cared this much. God. Anyway, I heard that McSteamy may be coming back next season, so Addison, you go get yours!
