I haven’t watched Grey’s Anatomy yet, as I was watching the Survivor finale instead. Discuss McDreamy and Meredith and George and everyone else here.

    I’m so glad that they don’t have spoilers for this show.

    Holy crap!! The last part of the show, with Izzie, I was sitting on the couch absolutely frozen. I figured the gunman would come back for the jerk manager, but BURKE??? No no no no no! Was I the only one screaming Izzie NOOOO to the tv when she cut the wire? I am so glad the finale is on tonight. If the President messes up May sweeps, so help me God. Izzie and Denny just broke my heart, but it’s obviously such a bad choice for Denny, and Izzie put Denny in such a horrible position (not to mention involving George in this mess) that it cannot end well.

    The Meredith/Derek/Addison storyline developed very nicely. Addison finally out of denial about her husband, Derek so obviously wanting to say something in the elevator to Meredith, so heartbreaking.

    My favorite quote: “The only people that don’t know that Derek is in love with Meredith are Derek and Meredith.”

    Extremely well done episode, that I was still thinking about this morning.

    I am annoyed Izzie brought George into that mess!

    Here are my thoughts, burke dies, gives heart to Denny? (That won’t happen.. if it did… eeek!)

    Don’t forget Mer and Finn at the end, with her “I love him”. SO not the dog she’s talking about… ;)

    Soosan ~ I was thinking about where they’d get the heart for Denny now that Burke can’t get it – remember that Burke left Alex with the heart – he can still get it for Denny if Denny is in distress. IMO, I think it was very intentional on the part of the writers that Burke left Alex there, so he might be able to save Denny. There must be another heart surgeon that can do the transplant for him!

    Also, Mere at the end, was SO talking about a certain McDreamy. Poor McVettie. :)

    That makes sense about Alex Maddie! Perhaps this will make up for his freezing in the elevator last season with the open heart man? :)

    Can’t wait for tonight, hope tv doesn’t become too confused with the presidential address..durrrr

    OK, Izzie has lost her nut. I’d heard a spoiler that someone would be leaving the show, so, will it be burke or Izzy? I’m guessing it’s Izzy who is clearly insane and just attemped (or maybe succeeded in causing Denny’s) murder.

    Man, I’m tired. I stayed up to catch this on the 1am Seattle feed (needing to watch the Survivor Finale first). Holy moly! I need a nap!

    Yes, this can’t be good for Izzie’s future at the hospital… maybe it’s Addison who leaves?

    or maybe they just mean Doc, the dog :)

    I don’t think it’s Addison because the actor who plays the guy she cheated on Derek with is signed on for a lot of eps. next season. After the scenes with Addison, Derek and Meredith last night, I sure hope she doesn’t leave anytime soon! They were great scenes.

    I thought I was up on all the rumors for tv shows. I haven’t heard anything about any main character leaving. That said, they randomly killed 2 off of Lost, so who knows.

    I think Denny will die because of Izzy.

    I thought that storyline was torture last night. Her actions were just insane for everyone involved, including poor George.

    I was thinking that, Michael, but couldn’t really bring myself to type it out. It will be so very sad if he dies because of her, which looks to be what will happen. I know she was blinded by love and that made her selfish, but “what about me?” infuriated me. What about DENNY, Izzie? What about a suffering man that has had enough, who you now throw a guilt trip at because he doesn’t want to be disappointed yet again? What’s best for him, you selfish girl? Ugh.

    I did think that Katherine Heigl did an amazing job with her scenes though. The heartbreaking agony they were in was palpable.

    How heartbreaking is that going to be if Izzie ends up killing Denny? man oh man!

    Izzie . . . oh, ugh. I know she’s trying her damndest to save Denny, but they ultimately seemed selfish to me. He seemed at peace with what was going to happen, and it is his body. Yikes, I think he’s a goner.

    Last night made me love Kate Walsh (Addison) more. She better not be leaving the show! She’s gotten to be one of my favorite things about it.

    And OMG! That ending! Ack! I’m eager to see how Christina reacts.

    I’m thinking that MAYBE, just maybe, Burke has the heart with him. You know, that they made a decision for him to bring it with him after all. Then, he’ll be alive enough to tell them he has it so Denny will be saved. I don’t think they’ll kill Denny that way.

    I too loved Addison’s a-hah moment—and true to form Dr. McDreamy just looks puzzled!

    I went and tracked down the spoiler I read. It appeared on Tvsquad.com in February and it read:

    Don’t forget to go to http://www.greyswriters.com/ to read the writer’s blog from last night’s episode. Really good. Tomorrow Shonda will write one for the finale.

    Yeah? We’ll have to see how this plays out! Are you as happy as I am that we don’t have to wait a full week for the finale? I’ll be sad next week when there is no grey’s, but it’s the price we pay for immediate satisfaction!

    I had to tend to a medical emergency last night and missed the last 45 minutes of the show and am so distraught. Could anyone fill me in–I left at the time they decided the colors of the prom. I am addicted tothis show so HELP !!
