Don’t These Children Have Parents?

It’s Valentine’s Day at good old West Beverly, and everyone reacts appropriately (or, in Silver’s case, completely inappropriately). Naomi finds a new love interest, Friday Night Lights Girl overshares, Annie steals her story to make herself more interesting, Navid and Adriana come to an understanding, and Silver COMPLETELY LOSES HER GODDAMN MIND and becomes a sex-crazed stalker. 9021-no.

Navid’s shirt was horrible.
Oh and Dixon can afford a hotel room with his job at the Peach Pit?

And Silver could afford that dinner without a job? And get a tattoo without a guardian’s permission? At least the old 90210 had some semblance of reality, where we knew that Steve got a huge allowance, that Brandon had to work at the Peach Pit to afford a car, etc.

I’m glad you mentioned the parent thing… I was wondering that most of the episode.
I like the irony of Annie taking acting lessons…. I wonder if they realized that Shenae needs the help.

That IS some delicious irony there, isn’t it? I also enjoyed that the reason Annie sucks at acting is because she has no soul, that she’s completely generic and boring.

I thought it was the best episode so far, because I found the whole “Annie SUXORS” theme quite refreshing and fun. And the bartender storyline reminded me of that Seinfeld episode where Elaine falls for the kid who recommends movies at the video store, not knowing he was only 15 and finding out when she shows up at his apartment with a bottle of vodka only to meet his mother.
(That was Danny Strong, btw.)
I still don’t understand what the hell they’re doing to Silver’s character. First she’s kinda mean, then she becomes a total douchebag, now she’s a crazy lunatic?
Car Accident Girl either totally made up that suicide story, or she’s about to go all Silver on Ethan’s ass.

Ugh….I don’t even know where to begin.
Basically I agree with what you are all saying here. I also kind of wish Ethan bit it in that car accident.
There is always a psycho girl. The one that insisted Steve had raped her. The one that went all Single White Female on Kelly. I can only HOPE this girl is the token short lived psycho character. West Beverly could use the excitement.

My guess was that she completely made up the story about the mean girls and her suicide attempt. I think the actress has one or two more episodes, so let’s hope she goes batshit or something.
Yeah, remember that girl accused Steve of raping her and then she was all, “Oh, my bad, I was just too drunk to say no,” and then he helped her audition for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof? Good times, good times.
