9021-whoa

So, what did we think of the new 90210? I’ll be tuning in again. I loved seeing our old friends (Nat, Kelly, Brenda) and the shout-outs (Andrea’s daughter “looks 30,” ha ha). Looks like we’re getting set up for intrigue and drama — Who is the father of Kelly’s baby? How soon will that one girl OD? Will Annie ever stop with her stupid smiling?

Also, Jessica Walter is totally playing Lucille Bluth AND I LOVE IT.

I’ll be tuning in again, too. I’m more interested in the adult story lines so far. I wish Donna Martin would come back. I don’t like the girl playing Annie. Oh, and the texting…make it stop!!

I never want to see Annie sing again. The girl made me flinch. She’s painfully earnest, and I don’t like my OTT soap stuff to be earnest. Good gosh.

It was a lot of blah-blah-kids-BRENDA!!!!-more-blah-kids. And just how old is the girl playing Naomi? I don’t know how much of it was bad make-up and a cruel wardrobe, but daymn.

Young male teacher just screams “innapropriate relations storyline, coming soon!” right?

I’ll just watch an hour of Jessica Walter walking into a room, making a snappy comment with booze in hand, and leaving again. I am cool with that.

I, too, am cool with that.

I actually squeed when Nat yelled out for Willie to help him with the espresso machine. WILLIE!

Also, I’m sorry, but what school would actually do Spring Awakening as their play? It has a circle jerk and a rape in it. As Big Brother’s Renny would say, “INAPPROPRIATE!”

Wait I must have missed something… which one was Andrea’s daughter??

I actually found the adult story lines to be way more interesting and way less predictable… when I mentioned this to my hubby as we were watching he said…”yah, thats because we are OLDER”… I am still trying to decide if that really is the reason why.
Hubby also stated that he thought the years had not been kind to Brenda… I thought she looked ok but next to Kelly and her incredible gene pool its tough.

Oh and Jessica Walter MADE the show in my opinion.

Right in the beginning, they were showing a school newscast in the classroom, and the anchor said, “And I’m Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez.” Then one of the kids made a snotty remark — “She looks thirty.”

I wonder when Andrea and Jessie moved back to BH!

My husband and I were just wondering, would they sing “Totally Fudged”, instead of “Totally Fucked”? Ha!

I’m pretty sure it was Hot Young Teacher that made the comment about Andrea Jr. I had to rewind to make sure that yes, that’s indeed what I heard!

The video blog stuff was totally over the top, it would have been much more believable and funny if it were more rudimentary, like an animated gif or stick figures, or something.

I am puking at the fact that Kelly’s sister is a) going by the name Silver (her last name) and b) that Kelly is humouring this and actually calling her Silver.

However, cannot wait for Ann GIllespie to have drunken raging! Woo!

Good catch on Hot Young Teacher. Although that’s kind of mean!

I was thinking the same thing about Silver’s blog…it should have been more MySpacey obnoxious. Every time I looked at her I thought about that time Kelly and Colin almost drowned her in the tub while they were high on coke.

Love that Mel Silver still couldn’t keep his dick in his pants after all these years.

I know — funny inside-joke-wise, but actually quite mean for a teacher to say about a kid, which is why it took me about 30 minutes to figure out that he was actually a teacher and not a student.
