We finally got to learn a bit about what life would be like for Sun and Jin had they never had their paths altered by Jacob. Sun, resourceful as ever, had been saving money in a secret account that she hoped to use so that she and Jin could escape her father’s life and lifestyle. She accompanied Jin on his trip to LA, in order to give Keamy $25,000 and a watch from Mr. Pak. The money was confiscated at customs upon their arrival and Jin didn’t go meet Keamy at the restaurant as he was meant to. This resulted in Keamy coming to find them. Shortly afterward it’s revealed that the money Sun’s father was giving Keamy was payment for Keamy to kill Jin; Mr. Pak had obviously figured out that Jin and Sun have been seeing each other.

Man in Black

Yeah. I was looking forward to this episode greatly, but it didn’t deliver. What did you guys think? Ultimately, Ricardus is not nearly as old as I thought he’d be, especially with a nickname like Ricardus (I thought he might have been from Roman times). By the time he reached home, his wife was dead and Richard ended up being sentenced to execution.

Sawer on Hydra beach

In the reality in which Sawyer isn’t touched by Jacob and is never encouraged to write that letter of hate, he becomes a cop and with MIles as his partner, goes undercover to catch grifters, and it’s no suprise he’s good at it. Miles sets Sawyer, er, James, up with his friend Charlotte. They get along great until she goes into the wrong drawer for a t-shirt and ends up finding out the fate of James’ family. He catches her, she denies seeing anything, and he kicks her out.

WTF

That was too much that happened. Sayid decided to be evil and killed Dogon and now the Smoke Monster is killing hand over fist! And then our local channel pre-empted something and we missed the end. What happened to Kate and Claire?

At the end of the last episode, a shot Sayid gets brought to the temple, drowned to death, and then wakes up alive again. This disturbs the Temple People and they demand to see Sayid alone. Jack tries to come along but is rebuked. Sawyer has a gun, says he’s out for himself and stomps off into the jungle.
