I don’t know if it’s because I’m having a crappy summer or what, but I just cannot get myself to care much about this crop of Big Brother contestants. They’re boring, they’re vanilla, and whenever anything slightly interesting happens, it’s either cut from the broadcast or we find out it was staged <—- possible spoilers for Thursday’s episode on that last link.

During the live show on Thursday, Lydia showed us how creepy she actually is by sneaking into the HoH room while Jessie was asleep, then talked to the DR about how vulnerable he is and if he makes her mad, she could do “whatever I wanted” while he was asleep. Lydia, YOU ARE SCARY.

Ronnie pouts

Jordan was upset about being nominated again, but Jeff reassured her that she wouldn’t be going home because everyone likes her a lot (including me…this is the episode where I fall in love with Jordan, bless her). There is some secret talking here and there, and basically everyone thinks Jessie’s plan is to backdoor Ronnie, when instead he’s gunning for Casey.

Russell is cracking my shit up and starting to be one of my favourites, despite the off-putting bodybuilding. And even though I don’t like Ronnie or Jessie, I think it’s hysterical that Russell terrorized Ronnie last week and then secretly reassured him that they have a secret alliance and he’s just playing it up. Ronnie has a horseshoe up his butt, IMO.

So! Ronnie seems to have made a slight mistake during his time as HoH. Instead of backdooring Russell, he put Jordan up. This confused everyone in the world, until he explained himself in the DR that using Jordan as a pawn is the best way to get rid of Laura. But why Laura? Why not Russell as planned?
