So here we are, getting close to the Big Brother Final Four. As B-Side wrote the other day, “It’s the unfortunate paradox of reality TV. If the people you hate stay in power, you’re stuck in agony. If the people you love prove to be triumphant, then you’re bored.”
Because of last week’s HiroChima meltdown, this week’s Big Brother scheduled double-eviction gave way to a Veto comp, a Veto ceremony, an eviction, and an HOH ceremony. The Chenbot, covered in glitter, did an excellent job rushing through the hour (with the exception of during the Veto comp when she told Michele and Jordan that one of them was about to win HOH). As most of us already know, this happened (spoiler), so it’s a little weird to recap last night’s show without acknowledging it. As usual, CBS wants their television-only viewers to see only a small portion of what’s really going on, and they’re trying to keep internet speculation under control by halting the feeds anytime the houseguests start talking about the person “expelled” from the game.
