I don’t think anyone can argue that Dan is one of few satisfactory winners in the history of reality television, winning with the first unanimous vote in US Big Brother history. He did it well, he did it while keeping us entertained, and not once did he attack anyone personally. There wasn’t a single person on that jury who could make the same claim.

Oh, what could have been if Brian had made it further in the game. The way he called out all the houseguests on their behavior was fantastic. I only wish Angie had time to speak as well; I imagine she had a few thoughts to share.

Hey, everyone, it’s our last Thursday show! Good evening, she’s Julie Chen, it’s Day 66 and we’re down to our Final Three.

Julie shows us the remainder of Part 1 of the HOH competition. We see Dan and his hair still fake fighting with Memphis about evicting Keesha. Jerry is thrilled, as he believes Memphis is holding up his part of the bargain. Memphis tells us that he and Dan are pretty sure they can beat Jerry easier than Keesha for Final HOH. Indeed, Memphis, indeed.

Okay, so after Danielsan (nice headband! I forgot to mention it last week) nominates Memphis and Jerry, Keesha talks with him in the HoH room and tells him how she’s so glad that she really can count on him to have her back. Dan plays along as they spy on Memphis and Jerry in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Jerry is completely kissing Memphis’ ass, telling him that he’s going to do his best to make Memphis win the whole game. Crawl up there a little further, Jerry. There’s still some room right at the top.

As we saw on Thursday, Dan wins the HoH and then the houseguests come inside to see a sumo wrestler in the living room. He speaks in Japanese, saying that what they need is under his bum. No one understands him, but he gets up and does his little sumo dance and Dan notices the envelope on the seat. He waits for the wrestler to get up again then deftly grabs it and I say, EW! He opens it and the letter inside announces that there will be a luxury competition in the morning and the winner will win a trip outside the house that could impact the game.

It’s Thursday Night Live at Big Brother and Julie has pulled out her safari wear for the occasion. In honor of Survivor: Gabon, perhaps? We go to the house post-Veto Ceremony and nominee Renny tells us that Memphis can kiss her ass. Nominee Keesha cries about potentially being separated from Renny, but notes she doesn’t want to leave the house. Jerry tells us that Memphis screwed him over. JUDAS! BETRAYAL! HONK! He crawls under his Marines blanket for safety. Dan congratulates himself, as Dan is wont to do. And why not?

I am really loving this season! I was so nervous about Dan getting evicted but it really couldn’t have gone any better. I loved the scene in the backyard (which Dan cleverly excused himself from), I loved Michelle telling Julie she thought Dan was a plant, and Julie’s reaction to that. The look on Keesha’s face during the HoH competition was priceless…I seriously thought that if she didn’t win she was going to have a stroke. I loved how Dan won the Veto competition before Ollie could even blink. Bye bye Ollie!

So…how come Michelle has decided that Ollie’s name is now Ali instead? Does he float like a butterfly and sting like a bee? And I wonder how long it will take before everyone goes absolutely nuts from Jerry going on and ON and on about how there’s no hard feelings, etc. At the end of the episode I think I heard him say that about ten times.
