It’s a free preview weekend on Showtime. Our cable company are big meanies and don’t participate in these things, but yours probably does. And if not – you can go to Yahoo and watch some of the new shows there. I’m particularly interested in Dexter.

Two things of note this weekend on tv:

1. The beginning of Amazing Race 10, with what looks like the most diverse cast yet.

2. A special episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, a show I usually extremely avoid, but this weekend a student of one of our friends will be featured. Per usual, the episode is said to be a sobfest.

The first new fall series starts tonight; can you believe it? It’s called Vanished and it’s on FOX, right after Prison Break. I don’t know much about it, but I do know that I like me some Gale Harold.
