This week on 90210, Annie got really drunk and Shenae Grimes was a terrible actress. Sorry, that’s all I’ve got.

I secretly love any teen drama that peaks at a dance. So I enjoyed this episode of 90210. It’s funny — in the old 90210, a Dance was good clean fun. I haven’t watched last night’s 90210 yet, but here’s some scoop for ya. Jason Priestley will be joining our new team of West Beverly teens — but behind the camera, directing a few episodes. And both Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty are signing up for more episodes, according to Entertainment Weekly. Can Ian Ziering be far behind, people? And wherefore art thou, Donna Martin? WHEREFORE?

So Jennie and Shannen’s 90210 runs are up…Brenda off into the sunset after deleting Dylan’s name from her cellphone, and Kelly and her kid off to spend a few weeks with Dylan to try and be a family. I’m pretty sure that will end in MASSIVE FAIL, because I think Jennie Garth is already negotiating new episodes.

Last night’s episode was a nice nod to the infamous Mother-Daughter Fashion Show episode of the original Bev9. Adrianna and her drugging, Dixon punching the slimy agent…good times. Annie continues to annoy, with her giant hair and giant teeth and stupid smile that won’t quit. Silver remains my favorite character, even though her disdain at modeling and how it reinforces unattainable body types was kind of ironic, noooooo?

The most positive thing I can say about this week’s 90210 is that they finally performed a song from Spring Awakening that WASN’T the “Mama who bore me…” ditty that makes me want to drill holes into my skull. I really don’t like this show much, but I also can’t turn away. Jennie Garth and Rob Estes have some sort of hold on me. Also, I enjoy the character of Silver. She’s pretty cool.

As for the show itself, so now we know the identity of Kelly’s baby daddy! The rest of the storylines aren’t really moving me. Frankly, I’m really hoping that we find out Brandon and Emily Valentine ended up together.

Boy, Jackie’s life has taken quite an awful turn over the past decade or so, hasn’t it? Even when she was using on the original Bev 9, she was never that horrible. Why couldn’t Silver move in with Mel? And speaking of Silver, I’m sorry, but Jessica Stroup looks frighteningly malnourished.
