Back at camp after voting out GC, Matty laments that his tribe sucks, food is running out and that luck is against him. He says that if anyone comes to him with a remotely logical plan, he’ll happily jump on board and give it his all. Enter Ace. The two guys decide to watch each other’s backs until the merge, Ace promising to protect Matty and Ken; Matty promising to protect Ace and Sugar. Matty promises on his girlfriend’s life, and Ace swears by his mom. Oh god.
